The 2015 Summer Reading Program theme is Every Hero has a Story. In honor of our local heroes, we will be hosting special story times in the month of May at 11 a.m.

On May 7 we will honor the fire department; May 14 will be the police department and May 21 will be devoted to the awesome animal shelter. The Summer Reading Kickoff event will be from 10 a.m. to noon June 6..

There will be face painting, a bounce house, snow cones, music, miniature horses, a fire truck and the Sachse Radio Club. Don’t miss out on the fun. Everyone is invited to come and get signed up for Summer Reading.

Mark your calendars for Sachse’ s first author con on May 19. If you want details about each author who will be attending, please check www.cityofsachse.com/library.
