Michael Crank isn’t one for blowing his own horn. Rather, the 15-year-old Eagle Scout wants his efforts and accomplishments to speak for themselves.

They have, and during the May 1 Sachse City Council meeting, it was Mayor Mike Felix who did the talking about, specifically about his Eagle Scout project, a mobile cat adoption unit at the Sachse Animal Shelter, which resulted in a proclamation designating May 1 as “Michael Crank Day” in Sachse.
