The Sachse Mustangs Volleyball Camp will take place June 8-11 at Sachse High School. The camp, which costs $65, will run from 9 a.m. to noon for incoming second- through eighth-graders, and then 1- 4 p.m. for incoming ninth-graders.
The registration and payment must be received by Friday, May 29, with a $10 late fee being assessed after that date. Checks should be made payable to Sachse Girls Athletics.
Participants will need shorts, T-shirts, knee pads (if they have them), a water bottle and money for snacks. The camp will cover six individual skills — ball control, movement, attacking, blocking, setting and serving — and apply them to team play. There also will be some emphasis on transition, serve-receive and rotations.
