Pirate tournament set for July 31

by | Jul 30, 2015 | Sports

The Third Annual Pirate Family & Pirate Football Golf Tournament will take place Friday, July 31 at the Woodbridge Country Club, with shotgun start of 8 a.m.

The tournament was established to raise funds for the Pirate football program, and also act as a building tool to embrace the rich history and the rekindling of the Pirate football program.

Wylie football begins practice Monday, Aug. 10 and will open the regular season Friday, Aug. 28 against Sachse at Garland’s Williams Stadium.

The tourney is limited to the first 36 teams that register. There are also several sponsorship levels, ranging from dinner only ($25) to AHMO Level Sponsor ($500).

The latter covers one team (four players), a catered dinner for four and a special recognition sign at one hole.

For more information about the tourney, contact Wylie head coach Bill Howard at [email protected] or by phone at 972-429-3146.
