Sachse resident Sally Richardson needs to sell a desk, a table and a small bookshelf. In order to do this, she has placed an ad on various social media sites. But where will she make those trades or sales in order to ensure her safety?
Thanks to a new program called Safe Trade, Richardson and other residents can conduct their business transactions at the Sachse Police Station.
“It is always a little nerve-racking when you go to someone’s house,” she said. “It’s in the back of your mind: ‘I hope this person is OK and everything turns out all right.”
