Sachse Fire Lt. James Marple and Sachse CERT Director Jeri McGrath display one of the pet 72 hour emergency pet safety kits.

About 50 people attended the National Preparedness classes Sept 19 and 20 in the Public Safety Building. The classes were sponsored and presented by the members of the Community Emergency Response Team. Featured speakers were CERT Director, Jeri McGrath and Lt. James Marple.

McGrath said everyone needs to start preparing for an emergency or disaster before it happens.
