Several thousand motorcycles roared through Garland, Sachse and Wylie Nov. 15 to remind folks that soon cops will soon be raising money to buy toys for kids.

In 2002, the Garland Police Department and the Harley Owners Group – Dallas Chapter, teamed up to create the MotorCops for Kids Motorcycle Toy Run. Since its inception seven years ago, and through the hard work of many dedicated volunteers, MotorCops for Kids has raised over $255,500 for the Shriners Hospitals for Children in Galveston and Houston.
