City establishes no parking areas

In an effort to enhance public safety, members of the Sachse City Council approved an ordinance that provided for no parking areas in certain areas of the city.

City Engineer Greg Peters said that council adopted an ordinance amending the no parking section of the Sachse Code of Ordinances in 2011.  That amendment clearly listed the various no parking zones in the city. Staff prepared a proposed ordinance that further amends that section to add additional no parking zones.
