Sachse’s girls basketball team is now 5-0 in District 11-6A following a 55-40 thrashing of Naaman Forest on Friday, while the Mustangs are 1-2 after losing 82-71 to the Rangers. The Lady Mustangs are tied with Lakeview Centennial for the district lead, and were scheduled to play Tuesday at the Lady Patriots’ home court. They beat Lakeview 42-26 earlier this season in a tournament game. After Lakeview, Sachse will close out the district’s first half Friday at Rowlett and then begin the second half Tuesday, Jan. 19 at Tyler Lee.

The Mustangs played Tuesday at Lakeview, will play Friday at Rowlett and then will host Tyler Lee on Tuesday, Jan. 19.

The Lady Mustangs improved to 4-0 in District 11-6A on Tuesday following a 46-25 thrashing of Rockwall on Tuesday. The boys’ team fell to 1-1 after falling 55-46 to Rockwall.
