The Sachse Chamber of Commerce is hosting its annual Awards Banquet Jan. 29 at the Atrium at the Granville Arts Center 300 North Fifth Street in Garland. The event will feature a cocktail reception, dinner a live auction and raffles. Awards for Business of the Year, Person of the Year, Spirit of Sachse, Ambassador of the Year and Teacher of the Year will highlight the event. The theme is Winter Wonderland.

The cocktail hour starts at 6 p.m. and dinner will be served at 7 p.m.

Chamber President Molly Hall said for the second year the banquet committee chose the Atrium in Garland.

“The venue is absolutely gorgeous,” she said. “Mark Wilson and his staff do a great job. The food and service is amazing. Everyone is going to have a wonderful evening.”

Sponsorship levels include Platinum – $1,000; Gold – $650; Silver – $400 and Bronze – $250. Teacher

Of the Year sponsors are $150. The dress code for the gala is business cocktail attire and tickets are $55 each. A table of eight is $400.

Hall explained that all awards are given at the discretion of the Board of Directors.
