Families wait in line to pet the miniature horses during the 2015 Summer Reading Program.

The Sachse Library Summer Reading Program will take place from June 16 to July 26.
The successful program will commence with a kick off event from 10 a.m. to noon June 4 at the city amphitheater. Library Manager Mignon Morse is encouraging everyone to stop by the event. There will be face painting, games, and a bounce house.
“There will be a CrossFit Kids presentation and a Mini Boot Camp presented by LA Fitness,” she said. “All ages can sign up for the Reading Program, find out what great programs the library has in store, and pick out your first books. So let’s read.”
