
Ken Earman was the featured speaker at the city of Sachse’s Memorial Day ceremony Monday. He recounted his experiences as an Army Air corpsman during World War II. The 95-year-old veteran flew B-24 bombers in the Pacific. He said that the war touched everyone in the world. He survived 40-plus missions and said his unit bombed every island in the Pacific. Members of Cub Scout Pack 243 stand at attention.
