Note: NTTA coordinated these closures with the Cities of Plano and Frisco. Tennyson Parkway over the DNT will be open to traffic during both closures, as approved by the City of Plano. Changeable message signs have been placed prior to lane closures in the construction area. Law enforcement officers also will be on duty to assist motorists. Delays are expected and motorists are urged to use caution in the construction area and seek alternate routes.

All closures are subject to weather conditions and will be postponed, if necessary.

NTTA appreciates the public’s patience during the ongoing construction.

The current Tennyson Parkway bridge over the Dallas North Tollway cannot accommodate the new DNT fourth lane.  In order to continue the construction of the DNT Improvement Projects and allow traffic on Tennyson Parkway, the bridge at Tennyson Parkway will be demolished in two phases, beginning with the north section.  Once the new north section of the bridge is built, traffic on Tennyson will be moved onto the new bridge and the southern section will be demolished and rebuilt.

For more information about upcoming lane closures and traffic-related news along NTTA roadways, go to the “Scheduled Lane Closures” link atwww.ntta.org.
