Sachse drops Plano West 33-19

SACHSE — Jalen Mayden threw four touchdown passes Thursday evening to help lead the Mustangs to a 33-19 non-district victory over Plano West.
The Mustangs, who improved to 2-0, will travel Thursday, Sept. 8 to Mesquite’s Hanby Stadium to for a 7 p.m. clash with the Mesquite Skeeters.
Plano West held an early 10-6 lead in Thursday’s game, which took place at Williams Stadium, before Sachse exploded for 21 points for a 27-10 halftime lead. They then went up 33-10 early in the second half on a 20-yard pass from Mayden to a diving Drue Jackson.
