
Runners from around the area converged last Saturday on the Bridges Course at the Firewheel Golf Park to take part in the 1.5 mile Habitat Color Fun Run, benefiting the Garland Area Habitat for Humanity. Proceeds from the affair went toward the GAHFH, with part of that being used to rebuild homes that were completely destroyed or partially damaged during last December’s tornadoes. The occasion was also used to honor the area’s first responders, as well as 911 personnel.
