Earlier this morning Sachse Police Department closed Merritt Road between Hudson Drive and Lacey Circle, and Sachse Road at Wylie City Limits. Both spots have flooded due to heavy rain.
According to the Federal Emergency Management Agency, cars can be stopped by only six inches of water.
Drivers are cautioned to seek alternate routes at the closures in Sachse, and to avoid driving in areas prone to flooding.
