A group of elementary-age kids are expanding their worldviews one book at a time.
Cox Elementary’s fourth grade book club just completed its first year and is already seeing results.
“Sometimes students only like one genre, so this broadens their horizons,” said librarian and club sponsor Veronica McKay. “It promotes [reading] for fun instead of reading for an end.”
