One neighborhood has united in their efforts to get a solution to an ongoing issue.
Residents of Sable Hills Estates are fed up with their road and drainage conditions, regularly attending city council meetings in groups to be heard.
The subdivision includes Sable Lane, Hooper/Bailey Road, Williford Road and Coral Lane. New homes in the area are currently under construction.
However, homeowners are claiming that the construction is worsening their already-precarious roads, particularly with large trucks traveling the narrow streets. They also allege that the project has caused roads to become higher than their properties, leading to flooding.
