Programs bring home district, playoff championships

The 2018-19 school year was filled with district, individual and playoff titles for the Sachse boys and girls athletic programs.

Each team, at the varsity level qualified for the postseason in Class 6A Region II.

Mustang football won a third straight district title, this time in 10-6A, and an appearance in the second round of the Class 6A Div. I Region II playoffs.

They avenged a previous loss to Plano East earlier in the season with a 35-25 win in bi-district at Homer B. Johnson Stadium in Garland.
