Sachse drops epic battle with top-ranked Grand Oaks

LUFKIN – The Sachse Lady Mustangs went toe-to-toe with Class 6A’s top-ranked team in the Regional Semifinals last Friday. While the girls fell 3-1 against Grand Oaks (46-1), it was a tight match in which Sachse never made it easy on the Lady Grizzlies.

The loss effectively brings Sachse’s season to an end. The Lady Mustangs put up an incredible run through the postseason, highlighted by their 3-1 win over Rockwall the Tuesday prior.
