Rezoning public hearings held; sewer expansion design OK’d

Christmas sweater wearing councilmembers recognized local marching bands, approved several purchases, a change of zoning request, design for a sewer expansion project and a raise for the city manager.

At the regular council meeting on Monday, Dec. 4, Mayor Jeff Bickerstaff recognized Wylie and Wylie East High School Bands for advancing to the UIL State Marching Band State Championships in San Antonio in October. After reading a proclamation recognizing outstanding achievement, he presented the students with the Mayor’s Coin of Excellence.
