A Sachse resident has been sentenced to 30 years for shooting two Sachse police officers in 2022.
Josiah Perez, 27, was found guilty by a Collin County jury of aggravated assault against a public servant, a first-degree felony, on Dec. 12, 2023. The next day, he was sentenced to 30 years confinement in the Texas Department of Criminal Justice with 437 days credit for time served.
