Sachse closes out fall semester with football banquet

by | Jan 4, 2024 | Sports

Prior to school letting out for the winter break, Sachse’s football program held their annual football banquet at the atrium, where the athletes and coaches were joined by their families to honor their 2023 season.

There, Coach Mark Behrens and his staff handed out awards to their players, while also recognizing the entire squad following an 8-3 season that saw the Mustangs sweep District 9-6A. It was an impressive year that ended abruptly in a shootout with Rockwall-Heath in the opening round of the playoffs.
