Nonprofit finds ways to grow community

A tiny garden behind a church has become a little orchard that wants to be a big community garden.

The First United Methodist Church of Sachse started small in 2018, turning some of its unused acreage behind the church into a small garden with four planter boxes. That garden now provides 5 Loaves Food Pantry with hundreds of pounds of fresh produce a year.
