Sachse girls look sharp to open soccer campaign

by | Jan 11, 2024 | Sports

WYLIE – The Lady Mustangs got off to strong start to their season last week, taking the pitch for three contests in Wylie’s Andie Studley Memorial Showcase. The girls picked up 6-0 victories over Plano and McKinney, while they tied Austin Vandegrift in a scoreless contest as well.

Overall, the trio of goose eggs the defense produced are a welcomed sight for Coach Kristen Campbell. After watching district foe, Wylie East, put up a trio of shutouts at the same event, Sachse needs to get off to a strong start to prepare them for a tough district schedule.
