Splash pad opens April 1

At the Monday, March 3 regular council meeting, city manager Gina Nash provided an update on the splash pad at J.K. Sachse Park. It will open on Monday April 1 and operate from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. daily.

Council received the city’s Annual Comprehensive Report and the Federal Single Audit Report for the fiscal year ending September 30, 2023.

Council also approved an ordinance adopting the city’s engineering design model. This will provide prospective developers and consulting engineers with a single location for all relevant design standards and requirements of new development in the city.
