Life-saving actions recognized

Mayor Jeff Bickerstaff issued proclamations for Animal Care and Control Appreciation Week and National Public Safety Telecommunicators Week.

At the Monday, April 15 regular council meeting, the Community Emergency Response Team (CERT) and Radio Amateur Civil Emergency Service (RACES) were recognized along with American Heart Association Heartsaver Heroes who provided life-saving actions during a sudden cardiac arrest event.

On the regular agenda, council approved the 2024 Water Conservation and Water Resources and Emergency Management Plan.
