Council awards $10.98M road reconstruction project

by | Aug 15, 2024 | Latest

This will be the first 2021 bond project to take place and will redevelop 5,500-linear-feet of roads along Hooper Road and Bailey Road.

Sachse City Council awarded the Bailey Road reconstruction project to McMahon Contracting LP on Monday with a price tag of more than $10.98 million.

The vote was not unanimous, though, as council member Matt Prestenberg was the lone dissenting vote.

“I know this has been a long couple of months … but very excited to move forward on this tonight,’ said Sachse City Manager Gina Nash.
