The Sachse City Council approved both the city manager’s proposed budget and tax rate for the 2024-25 fiscal year (FY25) during last month’s Aug 19, 2024 council meeting.

City Manager Gina Nash said the proposed budget includes certified values of $4.63 billion and maintains the proposed tax rate of $0.650416 per $100 of valuation. The council later in the evening also approved the proposed rate.
