Volleyball roundup: Sims recognized for 1,000 career kills in Sachse’s win over North Garland

SACHSE – On a record-breaking evening before a home crowd, 1000 career kills club member Kaelynn Sims and the Sachse Mustangs dominantly swept the North Garland Raiders at Sachse High School, 3-0 (25-19, 25-10, 25-8).  

Sims was honored for achieving 1,000 career kills on Tuesday night, leading the Lady Mustangs to back-to-back wins in District 9-6A. This comes after a sweep of rival Rowlett on Friday, Sept. 6. 

Sachse improved to 14-13 overall, 3-1 in 9-6A.

The Lady Mustangs will host Garland on Friday night.
