Two additional open houses planned for this week.

The City of Sachse is inviting residents to participate in upcoming open houses on Sept. 24 and 25 as part of its comprehensive plan update, known as the Shaping Sachse project. 

These events aim to gather community input on key issues such as land use, transportation, housing, and economic growth, ensuring the plan reflects the aspirations and needs of Sachse residents.

The open houses will be held at the Michael J. Felix Community Center, located at 3815 Sachse Rd-E. 

Attendees can drop in at their convenience on Sept 24 from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m. or Sept. 25 from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m.

Officials have said the comprehensive plan serves as a crucial guide for future development and decision-making in the city. The city welcomes honest input from residents to create a plan that truly represents their vision for Sachse.”

Residents are encouraged to share their thoughts on how they envision Sachse evolving in the coming years.
