The Sachse City Council unanimously authorized City Manager Gina Nash on Monday to spend $1,138,898 to complete the J.K. Sachse Park project, which the city anticipates will be finished by the end of 2025.
Parks Director Lance Whitworth told the council that the project is about two years ahead of schedule and praised the proposed playground equipment from Kompan.
