City continues Pop-Up Parks

by | Mar 13, 2025 | Latest

Sachse residents Tessa, left, and Anayah are ready for a fun-filled time at the park.

Sachse residents looking for a fun way to spend an afternoon won’t have to look far, as the city’s Pop-Up Parks initiative continues this month. These events, held in the spring and fall months, bring games and activities to local parks, offering families a chance to gather and enjoy outdoor entertainment hosted by city staff.

The next Pop-Up Park is set for March 15 from noon to 2 p.m. at Firefighters Park, located at 2841 5th Street. Earlier this month, a similar event took place at Heritage Park on March 6, bringing residents together for an evening of fun.

On March 21, the city will host a special event, the Family Arcade & Fun Drive, at the Community Center, located at 3815-E Sachse Road. Running from 7 to 9 p.m., this event will feature retro arcade games and activities while supporting a good cause. Attendees are encouraged to bring one new clothing item per family as admission, with all donations benefiting 5 Loaves Food Pantry.
