Sachse senior forward Charish Thompson has been named to the Texas Association of Basketball Coaches All-Region II-6A Team.

Named the most valuable player of District 9-6A for the second consecutive season, Thompson, a George Washington University signee, helped to lead the Lady Mustangs to a second consecutive unbeaten District 9-6A title and an appearance in the area round of the Class 6A Division I playoffs.

Thompson led Sachse in scoring (16.7 points per game) and rebounding (5.75).
