The Sachse Chamber of Commerce is inviting residents, businesses, and families to join its monthly community event, “Backyard on 4th” (BYO4). This family-friendly gathering, held on the fourth Friday of every month from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m., is designed to bring the community together for a fun evening of live music, food, shopping, and networking.

The Friday, March 28 event will take place at Mural Park, located at the intersection of Highway 78 and 4th Street, with additional space provided by Chase Oaks Church’s event space and parking lot.

The event will feature live music, a free drink station and BBQ provided by 141 BBQ.

Additionally, there will be a sponsored KidsZone and picnic table fun area, offering more entertainment options for children and families. According to the chamber, vendor spots have been re-positioned this year to allow for better access to the park area for attendees and vendors alike.

Those interested in attending can still reserve a vendor spot for $20. Vendors who confirm their participation by Wednesday, March 19, will have their names included in the event flyer email. A map of the vendor spots will be emailed prior to the event to help participants locate their booths. Volunteers will also be available on the day of the event to assist with setup.

According to the chamber, the goal is to help foster connections among community members and local businesses. The event also serves as an opportunity for small and large businesses to showcase their products and services while expanding their networks and developing new relationships.

“Backyard on 4th” will not be held during December, January, or February, but will return each month starting with the Friday, March 28 event.
