At the Monday, March 10 meeting of the Sachse Planning and Zoning Committee, Reid Cleeter of Kimley-Horn provided an update on the city’s ongoing Comprehensive Plan.
The presentation, Phase 5 of the timeline, outlined citywide vision elements, an update on the detailed studies that have been completed, and next steps in the process.
Cleeter, a planner with Kimley-Horn, walked the committee through key components of the plan, which was initiated in May 2024. He included the city’s strategic direction, vision statement and preferred land-use scenarios. The update also highlighted the ongoing community engagement and feedback that have influenced the plan’s development.
