Elizabeth, Eveline, Alaina and Emily, members of American Heritage Girls Troop TX2777, lend a hand during the Arbor Day Jubilee: Team Up and Clean Up event Saturday, March 29. The troop was one of 21 groups who signed up to volunteer.

Community members did not let the gloomy weather keep them from beautifying Sachse during the 2025 Arbor Day Jubilee: Team Up and Clean Up. The organized clean-up on Saturday, March 29 was the 14th for the city.

Approximately 260 volunteers of all ages representing 21 groups met at the Michael J. Felix Community Center for a free breakfast provided by Chase Oaks Church and free coffee provided by 5 Loaves Food Pantry. The Fleur-de-Lis Garden Club of Sachse also handed out packets of information about the club and how volunteers could start their own gardens with the herb and vegetable seeds that were included.
