Sachse soccer players earn selections on District 9-6A team

Players from the Sachse boys’ and girls’ soccer teams have earned recognition on the all-District 9-6A team.

Here is the list of award winners:

Boys

First Team — Chance Anderson, Jayden Garcia, Joseph Van Houten

Second Team — Jovanni Vazquez, Luis Deleon, Daniel Dominguez-Carrero

Honorable Mention — Ryan McMillan, Aiden Ronquillo, Matvey Strelchik 

Girls 

Defender of the Year — Clara Dowdle

Midfielder of the Year — Kate McCallister

First Team — Raeya Carthon, Lia Lopez, Sierra Rush, Gracie Groothuis 

Second Team — Emma Flemming, Izzy Visser, Maddie Herrera, Mel Nicolas, Kylee Blair
