Sachse Train Day will include three stops this year: the Sachse Historical Society Museum, the Sachse Caboose and the Community Center.

Train lovers and history buffs of all ages are invited to climb aboard for the return of Sachse Train Day, a free family-friendly event hosted by the Sachse Historical Society from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday, July 26.

This year’s event includes three stops: the Sachse Historical Society Museum at 3033 6th Street, the historic Sachse Caboose at 2800 5th Street, and the Sachse Community Center, located at 3815 Sachse Road East.

The museum will feature railroad history along with a modular display of Radiator Springs from Disney’s “Cars,” and throughout the day, members of the Sachse Historical Society will be available to share local railroad history and answer questions about the exhibits.
