SHS breaks ground on new facility

Garland ISD officials, board members, coaches, students and city leaders gathered Friday, July 25, to break ground on a new multipurpose facility at Sachse High School.

Garland ISD officials, board members, coaches, students and city leaders gathered Friday, July 25, to break ground on a new multipurpose facility at Sachse High School—part of the district’s 2023 bond program.

The project, funded through the passage of Bond 2023, will provide a new space designed to support a variety of programs and activities at the campus.

“Last week, we held groundbreaking ceremonies for the new Freeman Elementary, Kimberlin Academy, and five Multi-Program Activity Centers being built at each of our Garland high schools,” the district stated on social media.
