Halloween spirit shines bright at Wylie home

For the past seven years, Adela and Darrell Jacobsen’s home on Autumn Hills Drive in Wylie has transformed into one of the city’s most eye-catching Halloween attractions. What started as a small display has grown into a full-blown neighborhood tradition, complete with fog, lights, sound effects—and plenty of heart.

The couple’s elaborate displays have even caught the attention of Channel 5 News and hundreds of trick-or-treaters who make their way to 803 Autumn Hills Drive each October. Last year, their efforts raised $504 for the SPCA of Texas. This year, donations will benefit the Wylie Animal Shelter.
