Head coach: Kristen Campbell
Last season: 18-6-2 (lost to The Woodlands, Region II-6A Division I final)

After reaching the regional final last season for one of the few times in program history, an experienced Sachse roster featuring 16 seniors is aiming for another deep playoff run.

Two players expected to make a major impact are senior midfielder Kate McCallister, an Oklahoma signee, and senior defender Clara Dowdle, an Oregon signee and the District 9-6A Defender of the Year in each of the past two seasons.

McCallister is a skilled playmaker who will take on a larger scoring role this season following the graduation of last year’s leading scorer, Raeya Carthon. McCallister scored four goals in Sachse’s first two matches, including a hat trick in a 5-1 win over Plano East. Junior Lia Lopez joins her in the midfield.

Senior forwards Kylee Blair and Talya Chacon will provide additional offensive firepower.

Defensively, Sachse is anchored by Dowdle, senior Sierra Rush and senior center back Emma Fleming. Seniors Kennedy Harris, Karla Zayas and Amy Ramirez have been splitting time in goal.
