Sachse had 16 student-athletes sign National Letters of Intent on Feb. 4.
Clara Dowdle, the reigning back-to-back District 9-6A Defensive Player of the Year, signed to play women’s soccer for the University of Oregon. Kate McCallister will compete for the University of Oklahoma. Leah Brosius will head north of the Red River to play for Oklahoma Wesleyan University. Kylee Blair, who helped lead the Lady Mustangs to the regional final last year, inked with East Central University.
Four players from the defending District 9-6A champion Sachse baseball team made it official with their college of choice. Alex Moreno will pitch for Baylor University. Julian Fernandez is bound for Arlington Baptist. Nathan Sereseroz signed with Austin College, and Greyson Darden inked with Murray State.
Dylan Wisener, last year’s district champion in boys golf, signed with Pittsburg State.
Henry Lesley, who helped lead the Sachse boys cross country team to the District 9-6A title last fall, will run collegiately for the University of the Ozarks.
Matthew Hudgins will play men’s basketball for Simpson College.
Four players from the Sachse football team signed last week. Corbin Crane will compete for Hardin-Simmons University. Kaeden Swann is bound for the University of North Texas. Dirk Williams Jr. will play for Nelson University, while Cayson Clark will compete for Sterling College.
Cameryn Fair, last season’s district champion in the 200 meters, will run for Sam Houston State.
