Lady Mustangs win Maurice Hill Invite

Sachse had a big day at the Maurice Hill Invitational in Princeton. Twenty-five Mustangs placed in the top five, leading the Lady Mustangs to first place with 99 total points, while Sachse’s boys took second with 74.

Abigail Leonard won first place in the 3,200 (11:07) and earned bronze in the 1,600 (5:14). Arora Ngo took fourth in the 3,200 (11:55).

Cameryn Fair ran to gold in the 200 (25.38) and bronze in the 100 (12.34). Jaeda Bradshaw took fourth in the 100 (12.52) and third in both the 200 (26.15) and long jump (16-10.5).

Madison Keefer won the 400 (1:04.11).

Kynnedi Smith (third, 100 hurdles; fifth, 300 hurdles), Alexa Drinkwater (fourth, discus), the 4×100 relay (second), 4×200 relay (third) and 4×400 relay (fifth) also placed in the top five for the Lady Mustangs. Sachse’s boys 4×200 relay (second) and 4×100 relay (fourth) finished in the top four.

John Dupont finished in a three-way tie for first place in the pole vault (6-2).

Samuel Ledbetter (second, 3,200), Jonathan Ayle (second, 200), Gavin Leff (tie for second, pole vault), Domnic Richardson (third, 1,600; fourth, 800), Jacob Hawkins (fifth, pole vault), Alex Davis (fifth, discus) and Henry Lesley (fifth, 1,600) placed in the top five.
