After nearly two decades in municipal management, Sachse City Manager Gina Nash is stepping into a new statewide leadership role that will extend her impact beyond Sachse.

Nash, who has served as city manager in Sachse for 11 years, was recently appointed vice president of the Texas Association of City Managers, a role she will assume in late June. Before leading Sachse, she served as an assistant city manager in Forney.

Her new position with TCMA will keep her busy over the next year, working on “special projects as requested by the TCMA president,” Nash said. She added that part of the role includes receiving updates and providing feedback to board subcommittees through quarterly meetings.
