Sachse senior midfielder Kate McCallister and sophomore midfielder Emma Ramirez were honored on the UIL Class 6A Division I all- tournament state team Sunday.

McCallister had an assist in a 2-1 overtime loss to Keller in the Class 6A Division I state semifinals, and Sachse also received strong play in the midfielder from Ramirez.

Sachse became the first Garland ISD girls soccer team to reach the state semifinals.

The Lady Mustangs finished the season with an overall record of 25-3 and went a perfect 16-0 in District 9-6A play.
