In a rivalry game appropriately named the Hammer Bowl, Sachse found a way to make enough plays against a physical Rowlett defense, finishing undefeated in 9-6A district play with a 31-18 victory over the Eagles on Thursday night.

Four different Mustangs found the end zone on the ground while the defense held Rowlett to just 58 rushing yards.

Senior Keandre Little finished with 119 rushing yards on 16 carries, while senior Brendon Haygood added 62 rushing yards.
