Last week was another productive one for the Sachse cross country team.

Placing five runners in the top 20, the Mustangs won the team title at last Saturday’s Tyler Legacy Invitational with 41 points. 

Samuel Ledbetter set the pace, placing third in 16:10. Roman Rabel was sixth in 16:25, followed by Dominic Richardson in seventh (16:31). Henry Lesley placed 13^th in 16:53. Ozzy Heredia took 20^th in 17:13. Austin Oliver placed 71^st in 19:50. 

The Lady Mustangs also impressed at Kaufman, placing third with 65 points. Tyler Legacy won with 42, and Rockwall was second with 56.

Abigail Leonard led the way, placing fourth in 19:07. Arora Ngo cracked the top 10, finishing ninth in 20:15. Alicia Payne placed 17th in 20:52, followed by Maicen Keefer in 24th at 21:43. Kaitlyn Herrera was 30th in 22:01, Adeline Moss 32nd in 22:06, Madison Keefer 34th in 22:12, and Sophia Olade 35th in 22:16.
