GARLAND — Sachse crowned three champions at last Thursday’s District 9-6A track and field meet at Williams Stadium.
Samuel Ledbetter won the 3,200 (9:42.41) and added a second area qualification in the 1,600 (fourth, 4:28.39).
Jaeda Bradshaw captured top honors in the girls 100 (11.85).
The Lady Mustangs won the district title in the 4×100 (47.75).
Cameryn Fair took second in the 100 (12.05), third in the 200 (25.11) and fourth in the long jump (17-11.75). Abigail Leonard finished second in the 3,200 (11:27.70) and third in the 1,600 (5:17.26). Alicia Payne earned bronze in the 800 (2:24.82). Arora Ngo qualified for the area meet in the 1,600 (fourth, 5:27.11) and 3,200 (fourth, 11:55.93).
The Lady Mustangs also got a fourth-place finish from their 4×200 (1:43.38), while the Sachse boys placed second in the 4×200 (1:28.46) and fourth in the 4×400 (3:26.91).
Dominic Richardson (second, 1,600, 4:24.68), Maddox Hill (third, discus, 136-11), Elliot Hass (third, pole vault, 13-0), Jonathan Ayle (third, 200, 22.22), Henry Lesley (third, 1,600, 4:26.77; third, 3,200, 9:46.34) and Kaeden Swann (fourth, 100, 10.72) also qualified for the area meet.
