Early voting for the Saturday, May 2 general election begins Monday, April 20, with multiple polling locations available to Sachse residents in both Collin and Dallas counties.

Eighteen polling sites across Collin County will be open during the early voting period, which runs through April 28. Dallas County voters may cast ballots at any vote center within the county.

Sachse voters will decide several local races, including two contested city council seats. For Place 3, incumbent Frank Millsap faces challenger Laura Tovar. In the Place 4 race, currently held by Chance Lindsey; Alan Bell, Beau Hooten, Tim Legh-Page and Gurvinder Singh are on the ballot. Lindsey is not seeking reelection.

Residents in Garland ISD will also vote in school board elections. Incumbent Daphne Stanley faces Timm Parr for Place 4, while Jamie Miller is unopposed in the Place 5 race.

Within Sachse city limits, Collin County voters may cast ballots at the Sachse Community Center, Room A/B, 3815-E Sachse Road. Dallas County voters may vote early at Sachse City Hall, Courtroom, 3815-B Sachse Road.

Dallas County’s early voting schedule includes 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. voting April 20 and April 22–24, 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. April 25, noon to 6 p.m. April 26, and 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. April 27–28.

Election Day voting will be held from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. Saturday, May 2.
